A short line that rotates by the day

Quote of the Day

This page shows one short English line that changes with the calendar day, plus an optional name so it can read “for friend.” It is not a stock tip, not a religious verse, and not a notification spam engine. Nothing here is stored as an account; it is a browser-session toy.

A short pause

IndiaKit’s fun shelf needed a zero-harm pause that is not astrology. A rotating sentence is that pause. The optional name field is a nickname, not a KYC name, and you should not type a customer ID. Unlike the trivia generator, this page does not claim facts about India or science; it is just a line of English for the day.

What this widget does

A small list of lines is indexed by days since epoch modulo the list length. Default name “friend.”

If you dislike today’s line, come back tomorrow. There is no archive on the server for your eyes only.

Do not treat a slogan as financial, legal or medical advice.

A line for a friend on a workday

Someone leaves the name as friend and reads whichever sentence the day index picked — in one development run it was “Ask once, then measure.” They screenshot it if they want; IndiaKit is not a diary and will not email a sequel tomorrow.

Not indexed as the product

A handful of sentences, daily rotation, optional name. No account. Not advice of any kind.

Common questions

Do you store the name I type?

It is used to render the result for that request. Do not type official names you would not put on a sticker.

Can I submit a quote?

Not through this form. There is no user-generated pipeline here.

Is this motivational counselling?

No. If you need mental-health care, speak to a professional. This is a sentence on a website.
