Coupon culture in India is bank-offer, marketplace promo, and a bit of theatre. This guide is editorial: how to read a 10% instant discount with a ₹500 cap, how stacking fails at the till, and why IndiaKit will not ask for your card number to “unlock” a code. Affiliate links, if any appear on the live page, should be labelled; this copy does not invent a fake 80% off Apple store.

The price tag, not a checkout

Shoppers in Surat and students in Kota screenshot expired codes. A unique article about caps, MCCs, and “valid twice per card” is more useful than a scraped list that died yesterday. Use the discount calculator for the arithmetic.

Discount and unit maths

Read the cap: 10% off ₹8,000 with a ₹500 cap is ₹500, not ₹800. Run the discount tool on the capped save.

Bank offers often need a particular card BIN and a minimum cart. We will not collect card numbers to check a BIN.

GST invoices still show the price you actually paid. A coupon does not make a warranty longer.

A ₹500 cap that looks like 10%

A Surat shopper sees 10% extra on a ₹8,000 cart. The cap is ₹500. She uses the discount calculator mentally: 10% would be ₹800, but she will only get ₹500. She does not paste the card into a “coupon unlock” clone site.
