Days left until a hall-ticket date
Exam Countdown
Countdowns do not add marks, but they stop a NEET or UPSC aspirant in Kota from believing “there is still time” in the abstract. The default target 1 March 2027 is a sample; replace it with the date on the NTA or UPSC information bulletin. The engine counts whole days from today to that date, floored at zero if the date has passed.
The conversion students actually type
Coaching hostels in Kota, Sikar and Hyderabad live by wall calendars. A digital count that you can reopen on a phone is the same idea without a Sharpie. IndiaKit does not store a study plan and does not sell a course.
The formula used here
Days = max(0, ceil((exam date − now) / 1 day)). The sample date 2027-03-01 will show a shrinking number as the calendar moves. On 18 September 2026 that sample was 164 days in a development run — your screen will differ.
Admit-card dates, city-intimation slips and actual paper times are not this field. Use the official PDF for the legal exam date.
Shift the target if you are counting a prelims versus a mains. They are different days.
A 1 March 2027 mock target from a Kota hostel
Arjun pins 1 March 2027 as a stand-in for a spring paper. The countdown page shows remaining days from today. He still verifies the live date on nta.ac.in or upsc.gov.in; coaching rumours are not notifications.
Boards publish their own notes
No syllabus weighting, no holiday subtraction. Official exam dates override this page every year. The default 2027-03-01 is not a real notified date.
Common questions
Is 1 March 2027 the actual NEET date?
No. It is a form default. Read the information bulletin on the NTA website when it is published.
Does the count include today?
It uses a ceil of the millisecond difference from now, minimum 0. Near midnight IST the number can tick down by one. Treat it as approximate.
Can I count working days of revision only?
Use the working-days tool between two dates for weekdays. This exam tool counts every calendar day.
