A coarse pointer toward public schemes
Government Scheme Eligibility Checker
India has hundreds of central and state schemes. This page is a tiny filter: farmers with land are pointed at PM-Kisan (subject to land records), households at or below ₹3 lakh with a health-cover need are pointed at Ayushman Bharat with an SECC/income caveat, and incomes up to ₹8 lakh are told to review state welfare portals. Defaults (not a farmer, ₹3 lakh income, wants health cover) therefore surface Ayushman as the first match. It is not an eligibility certificate.
A sketch, then the official portal
A household in Gaya and a farmer near Nashik both drown in WhatsApp forwards. IndiaKit refuses to collect Aadhaar, ration-card numbers or OTPs. It only names schemes to go and read on official domains.
Where the figure comes from
If farmer = yes, mention PM-Kisan and land records. If income ≤ ₹3,00,000 and health = yes, mention Ayushman Bharat with SECC/income rules. If income ≤ ₹8,00,000, mention state portals. If nothing matches, say so.
PM-Kisan lives on pmkisan.gov.in. Ayushman Bharat / PM-JAY information lives on nha.gov.in and related official sites. State schemes have state URLs.
We will not ask for Aadhaar, income proofs or OTPs. Do not paste them into any IndiaKit box.
₹3 lakh household income, health cover, not a farmer
A family in Gaya is not a land-holding farmer, reports ₹3,00,000 income, and wants health cover. The checker’s first line points at Ayushman Bharat with a warning that SECC and income rules apply. They continue on the National Health Authority’s official site, not on a cyber-cafe agent’s promise.
We never ask for identity numbers
Three questions only. Not a legal determination. Schemes change. Official pages win. Never share Aadhaar or OTP with this site or with an unknown agent.
Common questions
Does ₹3 lakh automatically qualify me for Ayushman?
No. PM-JAY eligibility has used SECC 2011 and later state expansions. Income you type here is a coarse filter. Verify on official Ayushman / state health portals.
I am a tenant farmer. Should I tick farmer?
PM-Kisan has been land-record oriented. Tenant rules are specific. Read pmkisan.gov.in rather than ticking yes for luck.
Why will you not take my Aadhaar to “check”?
Because IndiaKit is not a government office. Aadhaar is for UIDAI and authorised departments. uidai.gov.in is the official identity portal.
