A QR code is a square of dots that a phone camera can turn back into text or a URL. This generator sends the text you type to IndiaKit’s own server, which draws the image — not a third-party image CDN in the article, and not a random qr-code factory in another country. The default text is https://india-kit.compcodesolutions.com.

A number you need in a queue

Stall owners in Coimbatore and college clubs in Chandigarh need a poster QR without creating an account. IndiaKit keeps generation on-server so the privacy story is simple: we render dots, we do not ask for UPI handles as a login, and we do not want card numbers in the box.

How the lookup or formula runs

Type a short URL or a line of text. The live action calls our backend to encode a QR. Long payloads make dense, hard-to-scan codes — keep it short.

Do not encode OTPs, Aadhaar, PAN, or bank account numbers. A printed QR lives forever on a lamp-post.

For UPI payments, the legal QR format is specified by NPCI. A random URL QR is not a UPI intent unless you put a valid upi:// payload you already own.

What we do not store

On-server image, not a payment switch. Dense text scans poorly. Do not put secrets in QR payloads. Not an NPCI-certified UPI QR tool unless you supply a valid payload of your own.

Common questions

Is the image hosted on a public CDN like a third-party QR site?

No. The article and the live path use QR generated on our server. That is a privacy and uptime choice.

Can I QR my Aadhaar XML?

Do not. Aadhaar and VID belong in UIDAI flows on uidai.gov.in, not on a poster.

Will this QR work in Bharat QR stands?

Only if the payload follows the payment specification those stands expect. A website URL will open a browser, not a bank app debit.
