Plaza count times a rupee average
Toll Tax Calculator
NHAI and state highways collect toll at plazas, usually via FASTag. This page multiplies plazas × average rupees × 1 or 2 for return. Four plazas at ₹75 one way is ₹300. It is not the live IHMCL route calculator and not a FASTag balance. Check npci.org.in / IHMCL for the tag, and the NHAI route for plaza-wise tariffs.
Fares and time, not tickets
A Bengaluru–Chennai run and a Delhi–Jaipur weekend both surprise first-time drivers who budgeted fuel but not plazas. IndiaKit makes the rupee line visible. Return journeys double in this sketch even if a particular plaza is one-way in real life.
The sketch behind the figure
Total = plazas × rate × (2 if return else 1). Defaults: 4 plazas, ₹75, one way → ₹300.
FASTag monthly passes, return-within-24-hour discounts, and Jaypee / state-SPV plazas may not match ₹75.
Recharge FASTag from official bank/NPCI paths. This site never asks for a tag ID or card number.
Four plazas at ₹75 on a one-way NH run
A driver counts 4 plazas on a one-way plan at about ₹75 each. IndiaKit shows ₹300. He still opens the NHAI / IHMCL route estimate because one plaza on that corridor is ₹145 for a car.

Common questions
Does return always double the toll?
In this sketch, yes if you select return. Some plazas offer a cheaper return pass. Check the plaza board.
Car versus bus — same ₹75?
No in real life. Commercial vehicles pay more. This average is a car-like teaching figure.
Can I pay cash if FASTag fails?
Cash lanes have been restricted on many stretches. Follow the current NHAI instruction at the plaza. This tool cannot open a lane.
